Abstract
From the social context, high-voltage structures are fundamental in contemporary society due to the transmission of energy and data carried out by them. The collapse of a structure like this can have significant financial impacts which makes such projects necessary. The current study proposes a methodology for dynamically analyzing a self-supporting high-voltage tower, under three-dimensional seismic excitations, in order to carry out this analysis, the commercial finite elements software Abaqus was used. An initial analysis is carried out to quantify the total resistance. The simulation methodology developed ins this study can be used for decision-making, forecasting repairs and increasing the structural safety of these important structures for society.
