Abstract
The following article shows how the solids mixing process works in current industries, it also promotes a challenge in simulating the efficiency of a mixer model used today and comparing it with three other original models, developed precisely for this work. An entire bibliographic research was carried out on the mixing processes, the mixers used, the various factors that influence the final results of the mixture and from this collected information the modeling process was started. SolidWorks was used in the modeling, a standard mixer model was replicated and from its characteristics, other blade formats were developed for this mixer, in order to observe which model behaves better in the proposed mixture and which offers a more homogeneous mixture. and in a shorter time. After the modeling was carried out, the mixing simulation process with pre-defined particles was started, using the Rocky DEM software, it was possible to configure the mixers to reproduce what happens in a physical model, after carrying out the due tests, the answer that one of the models developed performed the mixing in a shorter time than the standard mixer, making it a viable alternative for the industry.
