Abstract
We present the application of high-order finite element bases for transient non-linear structural problems. The bases are constructed using procedures for simultaneous diagonalization of the internal modes and Schur complement of the boundary modes. The bases are obtained from nodal or modal bases constructed with Lagrange or Jacobi polynomials. Transient structural problems with large deformation and hyperelastic materials are solved using the obtained bases. Explicit and implicit time integration schemes are used. The performance of the proposed bases are compared with the results for standard nodal or modal bases in high-performance clusters.
