Abstract
Indoor environments with thermal comfort are appropriate for people to develop activities productively. Because of the need for thermal comfort, a prototype was developed to evaluate the variables that interfere with thermal comfort. For the present study, sensors were used to measure: humidity, temperature, CO2 content, and heat flow. The sensors used were integrated into Arduino, based on the C ++ programming language. Internal pull-up resistors were used to integrate the sensors, which were activated in the Arduino microcontroller. Another significant factor was the manipulation and data collection from the Peltier tablet; the reading was performed considering the direct comparison with the current signal. The DHT22 (humidity and temperature sensor) and MQ135 (gas sensor) sensors were calibrated based on the manufacturers' specifications. After the prototype's built, several reading tests were performed, and the collection of the variables of interest was carried out. The results are presented in this article. The prototype built has high potential: low construction costs, and versatility of use.
