Abstract
Nowadays it is fundamental that research prioritize technological innovations focusing on precision, reliability, affordability, as well as improvements in isometric chairs in the market. The objective of this work is to design and construct an isometric chair to monitor the performance of a specific muscle group responsible for the elevation and retraction of the posterior and lower thigh musculature of individuals whose differential lies in the development of hardware and software which allow the measurement system, high accuracy, reliability and execution at low cost. The methodology for the development of the project and product consisted of the application and deployment of the quality function matrix (QFD) and for the performance (accuracy and reliability) of this system was used, the hardware and software TopSolid® and Labview®. The results were positive, since they made possible the design and the construction of an efficient isometric chair and of low cost.
