Abstract
Today, the Paralympic Bocce is a benchmark in the Brazilian paradeport. The objective of the study is to analyze the final ball displacement in the ground, from the initial phase of the touch to the end of the course of the ball, in the Paralympic boccia ball track for class BC3 athlete. For the experiments three balls with different densities (soft, medium and hard) were used. The balls were cast in an electromechanical release device at 3 different heights. The pitches were collected in thirty (30) throws for each height by means of a Fluke 414D laser train. The soft ball showed that in the distance of 1 meter, 1.30 meters and 1.60 meters there was an average variation of paths of 18 cm, 23 cm and 54 cm respectively. Given the results found, the data allow to have a reference so that the technicians can identify initial errors in the launching at the proximal edge of the gutter, phase of the touch in the ball for rolling in the gut of the athletes of class BC3.
