Abstract
This work aims to investigate the effect of contact stiffness and impeller flexibility in the first two bending modes of a tie-rod rotor in pre-tensioning conditions. For such it is presented different mathematical models to represent the system, which are compared with experimental data. By the comparisons, it can be observed and quantified that one of the most important parameters influencing the system dynamics is the contact stiffness among rotor components.
