Abstract
This work describes the use of the polynomial chaos expansion approach in the intrusive Stochastic Galerkin method in a rotor supported by hydrodynamic bearings. The bearings dynamic coefficients are used as uncertain parameters. The stochastic result of the proposed method has been tested through comparison with the results obtained by Monte Carlo simulations
