Abstract
This work aimed to design the wing-fuselage attachment component of an AeroDesign aircraft using topological and Lattice optimizations in order to increase the structural efficiency of the aircraft. For the execution of the work, the maximum loads on the component were calculated, and then the optimizations were carried out individually. At the end, the values of tension, weight, displacement, safety factor and natural frequencies were compared. Finally, it is concluded that for the proposed case the Lattice optimization presents more attractive results, despite having a more complex manufacturing method.
