Abstract
Planning and control in maintenance management are fundamental to the company's credibility in the job market. Staying on top is not easy task, and meeting customer requirements is a must. Thus, improving processes continuously is essential to obtain satisfactory results. Therefore, applying quality techniques to management facilitates the day-to-day work and provides greater agility in the steps, thus generating cost reduction and increased revenue. This project aims to highlight how maintenance management coupled with some quality techniques can help increase productivity, decrease costs and mainly increase the revenue of an air conditioning company. From a detailed study of the company's existing procedures, in order to locate the main problems, quality techniques and tools were used, such as the PDCA cycle and the 5S program, which helped to improve the air conditioning company, generating convincing results and a constant evolution. The application of PDCA and 5S not only brought physical improvements and behavioral issues for the company, but also contributed to a big increase in the company's turnover.
