Abstract
This research arises to highlight the importance of the instrumentation applied to vehicular inspection, the applied devices and their functions. This study was developed at the Technological Institute of Vehicle Engineering and Safety - ITESV and has as a method a bibliographical and field research. The data collection is based on a follow-up of a survey on a vehicle transporting dangerous products, highlighting the equipment and instruments used to verify their conformity to transit. The measuring instruments have a primordial role in vehicle inspection, because through its use it is possible to determine safety and environmental parameters for traffic of automotive vehicles, especially when it is a PP conveyor.
