The present work aims at a study and design of the tidal power generation system as well as the oscillatory behavior of the sea waves. For this, it was necessary to study the theory of the oscillatory behavior of the sea waves and the idealization of a system for the exploitation of tidal energy. The virtual tidal system was developed having as sizing and hydraulics concepts for the selection of pumps, transmission lines, accessories, turbine selection and motor-generator. The expected results in the research were achieved and made the tidal power plant a yield of 62% through variables such as flow, mechanical power and electric power generated by the converter.
