Abstract
The additive manufacturing process (AM) by vat photopolymerization presents higher dimensional resolution than the other AM processes, However it is greater dissemination and larger scale to the equipment capable of producing bodies in polymeric materials. This work aims to design a projector 3D printer (DLP) in additive manufacture, for the printing of ceramics. It was developed a project of an equipment and built a prototype bench where the main differential with respect to the machines for polymers is related to the viscosity of the raw material, which for ceramics, it resembles a paste. Polymeric supersaturated ceramic powder formulations have been developed. The prototype was initially validated by the printing of solid bodies and cast bodies in polymers, followed by the impression of supercharged resin in ceramic. After printing, the bodies were burned for resin removal and sintered for consolidation of the ceramic body. Low porosity zirconia pieces were obtained using mixtures with a concentration of up to 50% by volume of ceramic powder. The projection in layers favors lamination in layers, which for ceramics the continuous process of movement of the z axis was necessary
