Abstract
Uncertainty Quantification is a discipline which deals with the quantitative science of quantitative description and reduction of uncertainties in real world applications. It tries to find out how likely certain results are in a few parts of the system are not precisely known. Furthermore, failure theory is the investigation of predicting the circumstances under which solid materials under the processing of external loads. The Failure Theory is known as different failure criteria such as Von Mises and Tresca which are the most famous of these for certain materials. In this context, this paper is going to show a comparison between Tresca and Von Mises failure criterions assuming uncertainty quantification in the constitutive equations and the stress analysis. The comparison between the Tresca and Von Mises failure criterions is showed in a deterministic way
