ANÁLISE DE CORRELAÇÃO ENTRE VELOCIDADE DE CORTE, PROFUNDIDADE DE CORTE E AMPLITUDE DE FREQUÊNCIA NO TORNEAMENTO CILÍNDRICO EXTERNO DO AÇO 1045

Abstract
In view of minimizing the disadvantages introduced in the lathe system, engineering strives to achieve the balance between minimum manufacturing time and service profitability. The objective of this work is to establish the relation between cutting speed (Vc), shear depth (ap) and frequency range (Af) between tool and lathed part, in view of materials and frequent use actions in the creation of parts. The experimental work happened with a carbide tool and was made the external lathe of 18 carbon steel cylindrical 1045, being taken as input values: 6 parameters of Vc, 3 standard variables of ap in each Vc and constant advance (f). Vc and ap showed to be inversely related to the production time and parallel to the Af, while the latter showed to have influence on the workpiece finish and wear. In this way it is previously expressed that the variations of the cutting parameters in the admission of the machine come to modify the time of the lathe’s manufacture, but the exorbitance of the cutting parameters in the admission aspirate a greater Af, making many required projects. Therefore, it is significant the attention to the factors to be assimilated by the mechanical engineer, focusing on manipulate the values of Vc and ap, according to roughness (Ra), tool life (Tf) and cutting time (Tc) that are needed.
