Abstract
The growth of industry, it increases the amount of organic and inorganic waste in society, so the improvement of manufacturing processes, conglomerating environmental and budgetary issues, dictate the pace of the future for such sector. Particularly in the footwear industry, the increase in the consumption of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is identified, together with the concern, above all with the generation of solid waste from the injection of single-colored leather. In this way, this article presents the evaluation of experimental parameters and their interference under the injection process of PVC monocolors, which base the quality of the product (sandals), fitting to the study fractions of recycled mixtures, in order to verify their mechanical performance. In order to reach this objective, it was first held conferences with the company's management in order to design timely intervention strategies, then, following a methodological flow, the elaboration of experimental planning matrices was carried out, in order to optimize the exexcution of mechanical tests of traction and hardness, in addition to visual inspection, supported by resources present at Tess Indústria e Comércio Ltda. - KENNER-PB and UFCG. The tests carried out indicated that the mechanical properties were little affected by the addition of recycled material, being possible to produce on an industrial scale monochromatic leather (black), using reprocessed material (1 cycle), without significant change in mechanical, visual and comfort properties.
