Abstract
To conduct a project based on the plastic region, it is extremely important to know the behavior of the material in an elasto-plastic regime. Therefore, the results obtained by means of the traction test do not bring the necessary reliability in the data collection until the beginning of the strictness. With the computational advancement of the last decades, it became possible to use mathematical models and methods in order to characterize, completely, the elasto-plastic region of the material, obtaining satisfactory and unrestricted values of the hardening curve and the anticipation of the material behavior before industrial/real applications. In this context, this work identified the elastoplastic parameters through the convergence of experimentally and numerically calculated values (MEF - Finite Element Method) using the one-dimensional method of the golden section for such an analogy. The MTS 810 100kN Universal Testing Machine, the stress strain graphs and after the mathematical treatment, using the Kleinermann-Ponthot model, were obtained by means of the monotonic standard traction test, the data were entered in algorithm in MatLab software for obtaining, with the one-dimensional method of the golden section, the parameters of the material.
