Abstract
Hydroerosive grinding is a key process for the production of diesel nozzles. Its efficiency in rounding the holes depends on the physical properties of abrasive fluid. This manuscript revises some attempts to keep constant the characteristics of abrasive fluid along the production time. Previous findings that, but some difficulties were verified and they are presented here. Perspectives of future research in this kind of processing are also described, meaning the introduction of new techniques for characterization.
