Abstract
Orthoses are devices used to align, stabilize, and correct deformities of a part of the body. This study proposes to use the digitalization of the legs of a child's feet for the manufacture of orthoses by additive manufacturing. The anatomy was obtained by scanning with a Sense® scanner to generate the 3D surface from which the orthoses were modeled in Meshmixer®. TPU printing was done on an Ender-3Pro printer from UTFPR's NUFER. The orthoses showed adequate characteristics to correct the position of the feet, demonstrating that low-cost production is viable using low-cost technology.
