Abstract
Linköping University designed and tested in flight a remotely piloted fighter, the GFF - Generic Future Fighter, with the intention of exploring the subscale technique. The technique of building and testing an aircraft on a reduced scale, respecting similarity conditions, is called subscale. The Swedish project of research Methods for Subscale Flight Test and Demonstration (MSDEMO) has the main objective of investigate the methods of subscale flight tests. This project also includes a partnership with the Aeronautics Institute of Technology. In this work, the GFF flight simulator built with wind tunnel test data is presented. In this same simulator a doublet maneuver is applied to the elevator to verify the aircraft's short period mode. Despite the input, the aircraft proved to be stable when it returns to the trimmed position.
