Abstract
Al-Sn alloys have been widely used in the manufacture of bearings due to their mechanical strength, good formability and wear resistance. Copper has been added to Al-Sn alloys to increase tensile strength and fatigue strength. Therefore, with the addition of copper in the alloy there will be increase of Vickers microhardness. The present work aims to analyze the influence of Cu variation on the Al-Sn system alloy.
