A numerical routine for eigenvalue problem based on Boundary Element Method and Topological Derivative

Abstract
The present work a topology optimization for eigenvalue problem is performed by using the boundary element method (BEM), Dual Reciprocity Method (DRM) and the topological derivative DT . An special subroutine was also written in order to update an existent standard routine aiming to save computational cost. Finally, a numerical example is introduced showing the feasibility of the present methodology in deliver a structure with the first eigenvalue maximized. The final result is compared with the analitycal solution.
