Abstract
This work aims to develop a computational algorithm to assist the selection of rapid prototyping processes (RP) using the multicriteria decision AHP method. There are several RP systems in the market that employ different methods of deposition, in this way, the selection of the most viable requires a good understanding of the interactions of the various characteristics and potentialities. The AHP method is a tool of choice based on mathematical methods of judging criteria selected according to the established objective. As a result we have the design of a dedicated computational tool that follows the steps of the AHP method in the selection of rapid prototyping processes.
