Abstract
In this work we develop an analytical-numerical hybrid solution through the Generalized Integral Transform technique (GITT) for solving a two-dimensional transient problem of transport of non-cohesive sediments. To accelerate the convergence of the hybrid solution analytical filtering was applied in order to homogenize the contours, and the equation was transformed into a coupled system of partial-dimensional differential equations solved numerically employing Wolfram Mathematica 10. The results were compared with the solution obtained by NDSolve routine, indicating the feasibility of the solution of this problem GITT, which led to computational gains. For the identification of hydrodynamic parameters, we used Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, which showed results in agreement with the expected.
