Abstract
The objective of this work was to develop and build a Programmable Attritor Mill for the Powder Metallurgy Laboratory that would meet the project entry variables. The main variables were milling volume of 30g, speed of rotation adjustable between 150 to 600 rpm, number of cycles up to 100, cooling with water or nitrogen. The project was validated by the Tresca criterion and also by the finite element technique the result proved to be technically and economically viable, being possible to manufacture within the institution. Keywords: Attritor mill, Adjustable speed, Cooling, Powder metallurgy.
