Abstract
Two-phase flows are among the most common flows in the industrial environment and cover high risk and/or variable efficiency processes. One of the most basic parameters of a two-phase flow is the volumetric void fraction, which indicates the existence or not of a given phase and is correlated with several parameters of the flow, being its determination of paramount importance for the definition of the flow pattern. Therefore, this work sought the development of an monitoring method capable of providing the void fraction of the flow from analytical analysis and using the Simulink® tool. The developed model, which presents simple and intuitive construction, was able to capture, process and provide the desired information.
