Abstract
Corrosive phenomena are responsible for significant losses to various industry sectors, especially petrochemical. Based on this, it is of great interest to develop a wear model for predictive maintenance based on experimental evidence. In order to provide conditions closer to reality, in environments with pressures higher than the atmospheric pressure, a bench-scale pressure vessel with electrochemical cell features was designed according to ASME Section VIII with analysis and selection of geometry, head, instruments and material manufacturing.
