Abstract
An air conditioning system with refrigerant R1234yf for off-road vehicles is experimentally evaluated. For an ideal load, previously established, the effect of the variation in air inlet temperatures of evaporator and condenser and the compressor speed were verified on the main performance parameters. As the evaporator air temperature increases, the refrigeration capacity, compressor power and COP also increase, but the latter less significantly. In condenser, the increases in the air temperature had the opposite effect, in addition, it required an increase the mass flow rate and subcooler and overheating temperatures decreased.
