Abstract
In this work Ni-xNb (x = 10, 15 and 20wt%Nb) alloys were rapidly solidified through copper mold casting in order to compare equilibrium phases and metastable phases formed in quenched condition. The characterization was realized in order to confirm phases formed and the mechanical property was evaluated using Vickers microhardness
