Abstract
The core of the technological product innovation is in the concept definition, which needs to be addressed in a convergent way to supplement lack of technological trajectory, lack of resources for testing and laboratories, and encourage networking of researchers. In this article it is proposed a methodology for concept definition, based on the use of existing test results, and the matrix of contradictions of the inventive methodology TRIZ. The methodology, applied to an adsorption refrigeration system using exhaust gas of automotive vehicles, consists: i) identification and delimitation of the conceptual design phase according, ii) looking for another adsorption refrigeration prototypes and testing in the literature, iii) application of the methodology TRIZ for getting the concept definition.
