Abstract
The β titanium alloys are being used as orthopedic implant in replace of other metallic alloys. In a general way, for the material to be used as orthopedic implant is necessary appropriate mechanical properties and a price accessible to most of the population. This work present the analysis of the economic viability for the development of β titanium alloys applied in orthopedic implants.
