Abstract
A 6DoF model of a thrust vectoring rocket launch dynamics was developed. The primary objective was to access the performance of different control laws in stabilizing and controlling the rocket. The model was simplified in many aspects, especially in the use of a flat earth reference frame. PID and Universal Integral Regulator (RIU) control laws were implemented, and manoeuvres consistent with a gravitational turn were simulated. The results do not allow to draw a conclusion on the superiority of any control law. It is expected that further developments may contribute to this study.
