Abstract
The Lattice Boltzmann (LB) method have been applied in the past years for the simulation of several thermo-fluid phenomena, including two-phase flow. In this paper is carried an analysis of the interaction of a droplet with a solid surface in a gas medium with a LB method, using a single component multiphase model of pseudopotentials. The results include the determination of the contact angle of droplets with the solid surface using Carnahan-Starling equation of state and different values of the artificial wall density.
