Abstract
An experimental and theoretical study is presented, where flow of air-water is studied in an annular duct with an external diameter of 155 mm and an inner diameter of 60 mm in 10.5 m long. It is used the fast Fourier transform (FFT) to calculate the power spectral density (PSD) obtained from the time signal of void fraction measured by the annular wire-mesh sensor (AWMS). The average velocity of the bubble is calculated using high-speed video recording, which was compared with the velocity data obtained by particle image velocimetry (PIV).
