A first comparison of different exergy analysis applied to the human body to assess thermal comfort conditions

Abstract
In this work, three diferent methods to perform the exergy analysis to the human body were evaluated in order to obtain thermal comfort indexes. The human thermal model used is composed by 15 cylinders with eliptical cross section, from which it was obtained the temperature distribution of the body over time. The analysis indicates that some methods available in the literature might not be describing accurately the irreversibilities within the human body.
