Abstract
Regular reviews and predictive maintenance of machinery and equipment (mobile and fixed) are measures of control that ensures a smooth operation and minimise the risk of breakage of the same, providing at the same time the identification and their need of repairs so as to avoid the terrible corrective maintenance (erases fires). However, a management that aims to bring economy to your maintenance cost needs to go further and at this point it is interesting to perform and maintain a specific control on some components. Although some of these components have a unit cost, on several occasions, relatively low when compared to own equipment or machine, its control is essential to ensure the proper functioning of the assembly as a whole and thus avoid costs with unscheduled shutdowns and expenses too high with the deployment of solutions that seek to correct the problem situation after occurred. In general, the specific controls are simple, and can be used by any company, regardless of the structure or size. Such as: Control of hours worked, exchange of air purifiers, batteries, undercarriage, tires, among other.
