DEVELOPMENT OF A VOLUMETRIC FUEL FLOW ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR GENERATING GROUPS USING AN ARDUINO PLATFORM

Abstract
This work aims to develop a reliable volumetric flow acquisition system for generator sets using a low cost and easy acquisition platform. To achieve this purpose, the OVAL flow meter, model Super Micro FlowMate LSF29, was used as the main components, is the first stage within the acquisition; the totalizer of the Tech Meter brand, model MFC-TC; o Mipel brand filter, model F85; the breadboard of the manufacturer ROBO CORE, model Protoboard 840; and the board of the manufacturer Arduino, model UNO R3, as the main part within the system and responsible for connecting the sensors and actuators to the data acquisition system that will be executed on a computer. The software was developed in JAVA, which makes it multiplatform, through the NetBeans 8.0 development environment and using a MySQL 5.6.17 database. In conclusion, it is possible to create a reliable, low cost and easy acquisition system, for flow, for other quantities of a generator set and other types of system, contributing to greater progress and equality within science
