Abstract
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes has been widely used to study several phenomena of thermal-hydraulic nature, especially in nuclear engineering. The present work proposes a study of the behavior of natural convection phenomena in a enclosure cavity within a heated body, which has many applications in engineering, including heat removal from dry casks for storage spent nuclear fuel.
