Abstract
The modeling of CFD simulations of the pressure generated in the structures when submitted to unilateral wind loads has been a subject widely covered in the automobile and civil scope with respect to the structures of automobiles and elevated buildings. An example is the mining field, which has large equipments driven by wind loads and can suffer from damage, sudden stop and loss of production. The objective of this work is the development of a numerical model of the flow around a port equipment subjected to a critical speed load. The model was developed using the Ansys-Fluent software considering the conditions of permanent regime, air as an ideal gas and segregated flow.
