Abstract
There is a growing search for renewable energy around the world. In this context, the energy from the nuclear fusion reaction has been increasingly studied to make it commercially viable. The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) promises to be the largest fusion reactor and it is being built in southern France with the collaboration of several countries. Based on ITER, the objective of this work is to perform an analysis of heat transfer from the plasma energy to the coolant fluid of a blanket module of the reactor, comparing the results with others already published and showing the viability of the fusion reaction as a source of energy.
