On behalf of the International Organizing Committee, we have the pleasure to invite you to the ICONNE 2015 – International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos, Control and Applications to Engineering (http://www.cobem2015.org/iconne.html), to be held on December 8-11, 2015, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This event, following previous successful events, aims at providing a forum for discussing and disseminating the latest approaches, methodologies, results and current challenges in the area of nonlinear dynamics and chaotic systems. Contributions are invited in all analytical, computational and experimental aspects of nonlinear dynamics.

This Conference will be held within the International Congress of Mechanical Engineering – COBEM 2015. It is organized by the Committee of Nonlinear Phenomena of the Brazilian Society of Engineering and Mechanical Sciences – ABCM.

The ABCM International Congress of Mechanical Engineering – COBEM – takes place every two years in a Brazilian city and is the biggest and most traditional scientific event covering all fields of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering in Latin America.

O IBP – Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis promoverá a 10ª edição da Rio Pipeline Conference and Exposition, no período de 22 a 24 de setembro de 2015, no Centro de Convenções SulAmérica, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro – Brasil.

Publications

Proceedings: The proceedings book will be published by the Taylor & Francis Group and indexed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index, IET Inspect and Elsevier Scopus.

> Springer Book: A book with 20 invited works from the ones presented in the conference will be published by Springer under the book series “Lecture Notes in Computational Vision and Biomechanics”.

Journal Publication: A dedicated special issue of the Taylor & Francis International Journal “Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization” will be published with extended versions of the best works presented in the conference.

Em particular neste Simpósio será realizado o II WORKSHOP MODELAGEM E IDENTIFICAÇÃO INTELIGENTE DE SISTEMAS TECNOLOGICOS E BIOTECNOLOGICOS.

Este Workshop tem uma significativa importância, por reunir importantes trabalhos e linhas de desenvolvimento na aplicação das ferramentas da inteligência artificial nas áreas da modelagem e da identificação de sistemas. O primeiro workshop foi realizado em Manaus, Brasil, 2012. Este II Workshop receberá artigos e palestras sobre métodos, técnicas e algoritmos para a modelagem e identificação de sistemas tecnológicos, biotecnológicos e meio-ambientais, empregando inteligência computacional na solução de problemas práticos.
