 Title:
CONTROL TECHNIQUES APPLIED TO A LEVER SYSTEM FOR ISOLATION OF VIBRATIONS

Summary :
ABSTRACT. THE GOAL OF THIS WORK IS AN ANALYSIS ABOUT DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OF A LEVER SYSTEM FOR ACTIVE CONTROL AND VIBRATION ISOLATION IN LOW FREQUENCY RANGE. THE DYNAMIC MODEL OF THE LEVER SYSTEM IS OBTAINED FROM NEWTON S EQUATIONS AND WRITTEN IN THE MATRICIAL FORM. INITIALLY, JUST THE MODEL OF THE PLANT, COMPOSED OF THE BAR AND OF THE SUPPORTS, IT IS ANALYZED. IT IS PERFORMED AN OPTIMIZATION OF THE PARAMETERS STIFFNESS AND DAMPING VERIFYING THE VALUES THAT INDICATE THE BEST PERFORMANCE THE SYSTEM. AFTER, THE ACTIVE CONTROL IS INTRODUCED, COMPOSED OF SENSOR, AMPLIFIER, MOTOR AND ENDLESS SCREW. FINALLY, A COMPENSATOR IS INTRODUCED INTO THE SYSTEM. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE DESIGNED SYSTEM ARE ADDRESSED THROUGH NUMERIC SIMULATIONS. KEYWORDS: ISOLATION, VIBRATION, CONTROL, COMPENSATOR
