THE PROJECT OF EXPERIMENTS FOR POLYMERS THERMAL CHARACTERIZATION WITH THE SOLUTION OF INVERSE PROBLEMS ABSTRACT: WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW MATERIALS IN ORDER TO ATTEND SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS, BECOMES IMPERATIVE THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF PROPER TECHNIQUES FOR THEIR CHARACTERIZATION. IN THIS WORK IT IS DESCRIBED AN APPROACH THAT COMBINES THE EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE SOLUTION OF INVERSE PROBLEMS FOR THE THERMAL CHARACTERIZATION OF NEW POLYMERIC MATERIALS. WITH THIS APPROACH A BETTER USE OF EXPERIMENTAL DATA ALREADY ACQUIRED IS MADE, AND THE PROJECT OF NEW EXPERIMENTS CAN BE DONE. IN THE WORK THE RESULTS OBTAINED FOR PHENOLIC FOAM WITH LIGNIN ARE ALSO PRESENTED, WITH THE THERMAL PROPERTIES BEING ESTIMATED FROM REAL EXPERIMENTAL DATA.
