Summary :
A STRATEGY FOR EIGENSTRUCTURE ASSIGNMENT BASED ON LINEAR QUADRATIC DESIGN AND PARALLEL MULTIOBJECTIVE GENETIC ALGORITHM IS PRESENTED IN THIS PAPER. THE MAIN CONTRIBUTION OF THIS WORK IS TO PRESENT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STRATEGY TO GUIDE A GA-OPTIMIZER BASED ON PARETO OPTIMALITY, NICHE INDUCTION METHOD, PROGRESSIVE ARTICULATION OF PREFERENCES AND THE UTILIZATION OF TWO DIFFERENT FITNESS FUNCTIONS.THE FINAL DESIGN RESULT IS A STATE FEEDBACK CONTROLLER THAT PROVIDES THE REQUIRED EIGENSTRUCTURE AND WHOSE PERFORMANCE IS VERIFIED USING AN AIRCRAFT STATE SPACE MODEL.
