FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MODEL OF ANISOTROPIC MULTILAYRED PLATES
 
Summary :
IN THIS ARTICLE, A FORMULATION AND ITS CORRESPONDING IMPLEMENTATION IS PRESENTED FOR THE MODELING OF MULTI-LAYER ANISOTROPIC PLATES. THE FORMULATION IS BASED ON A VARIATIONAL STATEMENT FOR EACH ORTHOTROPIC LAYER SEPARATELY, WHERE A LAYER CAN BE OFFSET FROM A REFERENCE PLANE BY A VARIABLE QUANTITY. THE MODEL OF THE MULTI-LAYER ELEMENT IS OBTAINED AS THE ASSEMBLY OF THE STIFFNESS CONTRIBUTION OF EACH LAYER SEPARATELY. THE EXPRESSIONS OF THE COEFICIENTS OF THE FORMULATION WERE OBTAINED WITH THE SIMBOLIC PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENT MATHEMATICA. THE INTERACTION OF SYMBOLIC PROGRAMMING WITH THE ACTUAL C++ IMPLEMENTATION ALLOWED TO REDUCE THE DEVELOPMENT CYCLE CONSIDERABLY.
