THE INFLUENCE OF THE HAND IN THE ATTENUATION OF THE LEVEL OF VIBRATION AMONG THE CABLE OF HAMMERS AND THE WRIST OF THE SUBJECTS.
 
Summary :
THE STUDY OF THE VIBRATION IN THE UPPER LIMBS IN THE USE OF MANUAL TOOLS NOT MOTORIZED IT IS VERY A LITTLE EXPLORED. IT IS KNOWN THAT THE EXHIBITION OF THE HAND TO THE OCCUPATIONAL VIBRATION, IT IS INFLUENCED BY FACTORS, SUCH AS: POSTURES, BIODYNAMICS (GRIP FORCES), SIZE AND MASS OF THE HAND. THE PROPOSAL FOR THIS WORK IS TO STUDY SOME DYNAMIC ASPECTS OF ACT OF HAMMERING. THIS STUDY PRESENTS MEASUREMENTS OF THE ACCELERATION IN THE HAMMER HANDLE AS WELL AS THE WORKERS WRIST ACCELERATION DURING SOME USUAL HAMMERING TASKS. FOR SO MUCH, 4 TYPES OF HAMMERS WERE SELECTED, 4 DIFFERENT MATERIALS (STEEL, RUBBER, WOOD AND STONE) AND 4 INDIVIDUALS, CHARACTERIZED BY THE MASS OF ONE OF THE HANDS. THE ACCELERATIONS, SO MUCH IN THE CABLE AS IN THE WRIST, THEY WERE REGISTERED BY MINI ACCELEROMETERS. THE DEVICE WAS LOCATED OVER THE DISTAL PART OF THE RADIUS BONE IN THE WRIST, AND THE CLOSEST POSSIBLE TO THE HAND ON THE HANDLEN THE CASE OF THE WRIST, SEEKING READING THE ACCELERATION THAT THE HAND EFFECTIVELY SUFFERS. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT THE HAND HAS AN IMPORTANT PAPER IN THE ATTENUATION OF THE VIBRATION THAT ARRIVES TO THEWRIST AND THAT THE FACTOR ANTHROPOMETRIC MASS OF THE HAND HAS GREAT INFLUENCE ON THIS ATTENUATION.
