 Title:
INFLUÊNCIA DA SOLUBILIZAÇÃO NAS PROPRIEDADES MAGNÉTICAS DE LIGAS FE-11MO-5NI-0,05C

Summary :
INFLUENCE OF SOLUTION ANNEALING ON MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF FE-11MO-5NI-0,05C ALLOYS ABSTRACT. ALLOYS OF THE SYSTEM FE-MO-NI PRESENT HIGH PLASTICITY AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIES THAT APPROACH TO THE ALLOYS VICALLOY II (ALLOYS WITH 50% CO, 10 TO 14% V AND IRON) WITH THE ADVANTAGE OF THEY DO NOT POSSESS IN ITS COMPOSITION THE ELEMENT CO, OF HIGH COST AND NOT ABUNDANT IN THE NATURE. THE STUDY OF THESE ALLOYS BEGAN USING RAW MATERIAL WITH HIGH DEGREE OF PURITY. THE ADDITION OF CARBON TO THE ALLOY WITH 20% OF MOLYBDENUM INCREASED ABOUT TWICE IN THE VALUE OF THE COERCIVE FORCE WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION OF THE MAGNETIC REMANENCE AND SATURATION INDUCTION. DUE TO THE GOOD DUCTILITY OF THESE ALLOYS, THEY CAN BE CONSIDERED AN ALTERNATIVE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF SMALL MAGNETIC CIRCUITS, DIFFICULT OF THEY BE CONFORMED WITH MAGNETOS OF ALNICO OR FERRITE, WHICH ARE NOT POSSIBLE OF BEING COLD WORKED. IN THE PRESENT WORK IT IS PRESENTED THE MAGNETIC PROPERTIES FOR LAMINATED SAMPLES COLD ROLLED WITH REDUCTIONS VARYING FROM 60% TO 97%, ANNEALED AT TEMPERATURES OF 11000 C OR OF 8000 C AND FOLLOWED BY AGING. THE RESULTS WERE COMPARED WITH SAMPLES AGED AFTER COLD ROLLING WITHOUT INTERMEDIARY ANNEALING.
