Summary :
OPTIMIZATION OF CUTTING PARAMETERS THROUGH MAXIMUM PRODUCTION CONDITION USING DATABASE SYSTEM. IN THIS WORK THE APPLICATION OF MACHINING DATABASE SYSTEM WILL BE DISCUSSED, LIKEWISE IT’S SHOWN AS AN ALTERNATIVE OF OPTIMIZATION THE CUTTING PARAMETERS AND MACHINING COSTS. THE SYSTEM CONCEPTION ORIGINALLY WAS FOR AIM IN MANAGEMENT OF THE MACHINING TESTS INFORMATION AND ITS COST. NOW WITH THE INCLUSION OF NEW ALGORITHMS ALLOWS TO ASSIST IN TOOL SELECTION AND CUTTING CONDITION BASED IN OPTIMIZATION MAKE FROM MAXIMUM PRODUCTION CONDITION. THESE ALGORITHMS ALLOW TO FIND THE OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR TESTED TOOLS, AFTER ACCOUNT ITS MACHINING COSTS AND DETERMINE THE BETTER COST/BENEFICE RELATIONSHIP. THE RELATIONSHIP IS CALCULATED THROUGHOUT THE PIECE COST FOR SELECT CUTTING SPEED BASED IN THE MAXIMUM PRODUCTION SPEED DETERMINED IN INDUSTRIAL PLANT. THE SEARCH ROUTINES FOR STORED DATA IN THE SYSTEM UTILIZE THE PIECE CODE FOR SELECT THE FEASIBLE PROBLEM SOLUTIONS, AND THOUGHT THE PRIORITIES SEQUENCE OF CODIFICATION SYSTEM A RECORD CHOICE CAN BE MAKE. THE INITIAL TESTS SHOW A PROMISING FIELD FOR OPTIMIZATION OF CUTTING CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE METHODOLOGY ADOPTED BY SYSTEM. KEYWORDS: MACHINING, DATABASE, OPTIMIZATION.
