DESIGN, BUILDING AND IDENTIFICATION OF A ROTOR DYNAMICS DRIVER
 
Summary :
IN THE STUDY, MONITORING, IDENTIFICATION AND DIAGNOSIS OF FLAWS IN ROTATIVE EQUIPMENTS, AS WELL AS IN THE EVOLUTION OF ITS OPERATIONAL DEFECTS, THE EXISTENCE OF A DEVICE OF EXPERIMENTAL TEST, SENSITIVE TO SUCH PHENOMENONS AND CAPABLE TO REPRODUCE IN THE LABORATORY ATMOSPHERE THE BEHAVIOR OF THE SEVERAL CLASSES OF ROTATIVE MACHINES, IS DESIRABLE. IN THIS WORK WILL BE DISCUSSED DETAILS OF THE PROJECT PHASES THROUGH FINITE ELEMENTS, AS WELL AS OF THE BUILDING, ASSEMBLY AND EXPERIMENTAL CHARACTERIZATION, OF A GENERIC ROTOR DEVICE FOR STUDIES OF ANY INHERENT PHENOMENONS TO THE ROTOR DYNAMICS. THE ROTOR DEVICE IS CONSTITUTED OF A FLEXIBLE ROTOR SUPPORTED FOR A RIGID STRUCTURE. THE SPRING AND DAMPING PARAMETERS, AS WELL AS THE DISKS POSITIONS ALONG THE ROTOR ARE EASILY ADJUSTABLE. THE ROTOR AND THE RIGID STRUCTURE WERE PROJECTED FOR THEY HAVE NATURAL FREQUENCIES OF DIFFERENT VIBRATION.
