Dear Professor

We invite you to submit a paper to the 15th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing: IWSSIP 2008 (http://iwssip.stuba.sk). It will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, on June 25–28, 2008.

The deadlines are as following:

Submission of full paper proposals: March 1, 2008
Notification of Acceptance : March 22, 2008
Early registration : March 31, 2008
Camera ready papers :April 18, 2008
Registration deadline: May 16, 2008

IWSSIP 2008 follows the successful events previously held in Budapest, Manchester, Poznań, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, Prague and Chalkida. IWSSIP brings together researchers and developers from both academia and industry to report on the latest scientific and theoretical advances, to discuss and debate major issues and to demonstrate state-of-the-art systems.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

Awards will be granted to the best papers of those presented at each session. Special award will be granted to the best student papers, where the first author of the paper is a student and the paper is presented by the student at the conference. Extended version of remarkable number (up to 50%) of the best papers presented at the conference will be selected for their publication in a special issue of International Journal of Signal and Imaging Systems Engineering (IJSISE) ISSN (Online): 1748-0701 – ISSN (Print): 1748-0698 http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalCODE=ijsise
